IASIR Procedures for Awards Nominations

  1. Nominations for awards may be made by IASIR members on forms posted on IASIR’s website and available at Annual Conferences. The call for nominations is ongoing with a deadline in any given year of two months prior to the Annual Conference.
  2. All award winners shall be determined by a vote of the Board of Directors.
  3. Awards are as follows:

The John Russi Founder’s Award was created in honor of John Russi, whose vision and enterprise brought the association to life in 1993. The award recognizes government members for meritorious and exemplary service in furthering the goals and ideals of the International Association of Security and Investigative Regulators. Government (full) members are invited to make nominations for this award.

The Donna Martin Spirit Award was created in memory of the late Donna Martin, IASIR’s first administrator, whose dedication to promoting the association was tireless and passionate. The award recognizes an industry member who has demonstrated outstanding and selfless service to the goals and highest ideals of the International Association of Security and Investigative Regulators. Industry (associate) members are invited to make nominations for this award.
