FULL MEMBERSHIP

Any state, provincial or other governmental entity that regulates the security, investigative, alarm and/or related industries is eligible for full membership. This includes government agencies and regulatory boards, local agencies that are not state-regulated, and entities from other countries. The full membership fee is $200 (US) and includes two participants, one of whom is entitled to vote. Additional representatives may be added to a full membership by purchasing individual memberships (non-voting) at a cost of $25 per person.

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP

Individual membership may be granted to any person who is appointed or employed by a state, provincial or other governmental entity that regulates the security, investigative, alarm and/or related industries. The individual government membership fee is $25 (US).

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

Associate membership is open to any individual, company, agency, organization, association, etc., that is not a governmental regulatory entity, but declares an intention to pursue the purposes of the Association as stated in its bylaws and abide by IASIR's code of ethics. The non-voting associate membership is valid for two participants at a fee based on annual gross revenue:

1) Annual revenue less than $1 million: $200
2) Annual revenue $1 million - $10 million: $300
3) Annual revenue over $10 million: $500

The John Russi Founder’s Award was created in honor of John Russi, whose vision and enterprise brought the association to life in 1993. The award recognizes full and individual members for meritorious and exemplary service in furthering the goals and ideals of the International Association of Security and Investigative Regulators. The Donna Martin Spirit Award was created in memory of the late Donna Martin, IASIR’s first administrator, whose dedication to promoting the association was tireless and passionate. The award recognizes an associate member who has demonstrated outstanding and selfless service to the goals and highest ideals of the International Association of Security and Investigative Regulators.
